Romantic Industrial Wedding at Castle and Key | Ian + Rayann
Meet Ian + Rayann
This adventurous pair married on a perfect fall September day in central Kentucky. Sunshine and cool temperatures descended upon the rusted gates and aged facade of The Old Taylor Distillery in Frankfort, Ky.
Sitting beside Glenn's Creek this property is now a revitalized bourbon distillery named Castle and Key. The grounds offer an industrial haven of still abandoned warehouses, a gorgeous sunken garden, a spring house with Greek/Roman references and other buildings with surprises behind their doors. Ian is a new employee here as well, so it was a wonderful backdrop for this adventurous couple to say, "I do!".
Ian + Rayann met in London, England while in the same study abroad program. True to the way they met, they love to travel and snuggle their dog, Tucker, between law school and working in the bourbon industry.
After being together for over 4 years their relationship is effortless and sweet. Ian sported a fine Italian tie and Rayann a gorgeous vintage dress. The sunken garden filled with their family and friends as the sun began to set. Torches lead their guests from cocktail hour in the spring house to a gorgeous ceremony in a nearby building. Their coordinators State and Arrow created a truly dreamy space for them to celebrate their love and dine to catering from the Apiary.
It was a joy to be part of this incredible wedding day and I want to think Katelyn Conn for being my second photographer (please see the end of the post for the rest of the incredible vendors who contributed to this gorgeous day!).
Ian + Rayann- I truly hope you LOVE the way your day was documented and that these photos serve as a wonderful and treasured memory for many years to come! Cheers to many new adventures together!
