Chris and Sarah started out as long distance friends from an internet game they played together but as life brought them geographically closer together their friendship blossomed closer too. Their love story continued to span thousands of miles as jobs, school and visiting family called for lots of time on the road both together and apart. Their hearts remained close regardless of the distance and lead them here- to their wedding day! They wed under cool Saturday with overcast skies on October 13th. Sitting beside Glenn's Creek in Frankfort, Ky the Old Taylor Distillery property is now a revitalized bourbon distillery named Castle and Key. The grounds offer an industrial haven of still abandoned warehouses, a gorgeous sunken garden, a spring house with Greek/Roman references and other buildings with surprises behind their doors.
