Brad and Bennett are high school best friends that realized they had a thing for each other in college. They have since made Lexington their home together with their three sweet pups! When they aren’t working they love to spend time outdoors on the weekends in Red River Gorge- which is where they recently got engaged! We spent a beautiful fall evening at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky for their engagement session to catch the fall color and capture their love for each other. Jaron + Anna are expecting a baby girl in the next few weeks! Although they currently live in Alabania, it was on a summer visit back to Kentucky that they decided to celebrate the pregnancy of their child with a photoshoot. Joel, Emma and baby Viv currently call Taiwan home but while visiting family in the U.S. they squeezed in some time for family photos with me at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky! Gabrielle + Andrew met while she was finishing her masters at the University of Kentucky and within a few years they got engaged in London, England, bought a home together, are raising their spunky Scottish Terrier named Snow and are planning their wedding for next year! <3 Join us for their engagement session at Buffalo Trace Distillery and the University of Kentucky!

A couple of Scots living in London, England decided to cross Kentucky off their travel bucket list and elope while doing so! On one of the rainiest days I’ve ever seen these two grabbed umbrellas, joined hands and officially tied the knot in Frankfort, Kentucky. We roamed around downtown, dried off at Buffalo Trace Distillery where they had a perfect impromptu toast from another distillery guest and ended with some special portraits in the barrel house. Sitting beside Glenn's Creek in Frankfort, Ky the Old Taylor Distillery property is now a revitalized bourbon distillery named Castle and Key. The grounds offer an industrial haven of still abandoned warehouses, a gorgeous sunken garden, a spring house with Greek/Roman references and other buildings with surprises behind their doors. Ian is a new employee here, so it was a wonderful backdrop for him and Rayann to say, "I do!". See their romantic and colorful fall wedding day on the blog here!

Just because you've been married a few years but don't have kids doesn't mean you don't deserve some updated portraits together! Amiright? I spent an afternoon with Grant + Kara as they cracked each other up and loved on each other at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Just because everyone needs some pictures with the one they love. :)
