With the arrival of Hadley Grace, dad is officially outnumbered! The Petit family welcomed their second baby girl this summer and they invited me into their home to document them together.

The Reynolds Family recently moved in to a beautiful home in Ashland, Kentucky and their little ladies are turning 1 and 3 so there was a lot to celebrate during our recent photoshoot together. We enjoyed a warm evening in their backyard, had a tea party, painted with Dad and ended the evening with a flower milk bath to get some extra special portraits of the girls. Belle also bribed me into having chocolate ice cream with them before I headed home so I obviously had to make good on that deal :). Enjoy some of my favorites from their portrait session below! <3

Joel, Emma and baby Viv currently call Taiwan home but while visiting family in the U.S. they squeezed in some time for family photos with me at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky! Even at a few months old Viv is already full of personality and kept us all laughing with her giggles and scowls and looks of judgement. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites! <3

Meet The Billy + Mackenzie! Though the real star here is their little lady, Marley. She’s officially spent half a year bettering their lives with drool and giggles- plus she’s sitting by herself now! When you’re 6 months old that skill is one of the highest accomplishments and deserves documentation! :) Enjoy our gorgeous evening out at Keeneland celebrating this fun little lady!

D.j. + Kailey brought their little man into the studio to document his first year of life! Mason spends his days going from superhero to snuggling Elmo to giving well intentional open mouth kisses to mom and dad. :) Enjoy their family session at the Studio Lex in Lexington, Kentucky.

This sweet family has invited me to document them many times and this time it was to celebrate little E turning 6 months old. Our session turned more into bribery with M&ms, shoulder rides, tickle fights and kisses and that’s exactly the way it should be :) I adore this family and hope you enjoy their session at the Studio Lex!

Meet Helen! She’s the newest, but still not the smallest (thanks to Mowgli!), addition to the Wood family! She was so excited to join in the family fun that she came two weeks early and kept one eye open for most of our photo shoot to make sure she didn’t miss anything. :) They joined me at The Studio Lex to document their fresh family of five.

Karrie + Xavier shared their crew of kiddos with me for another year as their youngest, Kieran, just turned ONE! We threw tinsle like snow, taught Kieran how to drink Fanta and they let me spin them around like superheroes. It was so fun to spend a morning with them at the family business Blue Stallion Brewing Company. I hope you enjoy this goofy sibling photoshoot.
