With the arrival of Hadley Grace, dad is officially outnumbered! The Petit family welcomed their second baby girl this summer and they invited me into their home to document them together.

Meet Helen! She’s the newest, but still not the smallest (thanks to Mowgli!), addition to the Wood family! She was so excited to join in the family fun that she came two weeks early and kept one eye open for most of our photo shoot to make sure she didn’t miss anything. :) They joined me at The Studio Lex to document their fresh family of five.

These high school sweethearts dreamed of their wedding day together since the first days of their relationship and were so excited when the day finally arrived! :) A+A love UK but will be cheering on the Cats from their new home in Alabama this year as Austin continues his veterinary education and Alyson teaches first grade! It was an absolute honor to be part of their wedding day and celebrate with your nearest + dearest. 

Julie + Matt welcomed little Maisy a few weeks earlier than expected (just like mom!). She's been a wide eyed addition to their already full and energetic house. We spent an afternoon together trying to keep Maisy asleep on someone's shoulder and even managed to get a full family photo on the bed (but cruise to the last photo to see how it looked most of the time ;)) Enjoy their in home newborn session in Georgetown, Kentucky!

Holly + Tyler, inspired by a trip to Ireland together, knew the name Sutton was the perfect unique name for their baby girl. Autumn + Joey welcomed baby Georgiana in June and she has completely stolen their hearts. It's always an honor to document a family at the beginning of a new chapter in their lives and spend quiet moments with them at home. These little details are fleeting treasures; the way Georgi lays and positions her legs because she was born breech, how Autumn strokes her arm and kisses her feet during feeding and the way Joey's facial hair makes her face crunch. She's the newest arrival to the Vanderhorst house and she's already filling her days learning to root for the University of Kentucky Wildcats, cheering on dad as a swim team coach and snuggling up with mom. Join us for her in-home newborn session for all the sweetness!

Brooke + Jeremy recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary but year number two will look a bit different with the addition of a baby girl! :) We spent an evening out on the farm in Bardstown, Kentucky to document this sweet time before little Avery arrives!
