Billy + Alex are cat loving, Netflix binging, pizza eating, UK Wildcat loving beer connoisseurs. They are effortlessly fun with each other and it was a blast to bounce around Lexington with them for an evening to document their love for each other at the University of Kentucky and their favorite watering hole, West Sixth Brewery. Meet Michael + Maggie, also known amongst family and friends as the McBears. They are a hilarious and self proclaimed nerdy pair that love puzzles, escape rooms and working out together. They even got engaged after a live game of Clue in downtown Louisville. While on a quick wedding planning trip to Kentucky I met up with Drew + Naz at their wedding venue The Vintage Barn at Merefield in Midway, Kentucky for an engagement session in the sunflower fields. It was truly a dreamy evening and I absolutely loved getting to experience how much there two laugh and play together. Back in 2008 Michael, a sophomore, tried his best to ask out Leslie, a senior he had developed a crush on while they attended the same boarding school. While his ability to talk her into a date didn’t work in 2008, he took another chance almost ten years later with great success! They were engaged within a year and tied the knot on June 1, 2019 in Lexington, Ky. A seemingly quiet southern girl from Kentucky finally connected with a sarcastic New Yorker at a CBS Sports Holiday party. Following their first date, Eric and Blair were essentially inseparable. They currently call New York City home but decided that Lexington, Kentucky would be the perfect setting for their “I do’s”! They wed on a rainy Saturday in May, surrounded by their dearest family and friends on the Keeneland Clubhouse lawn. Their entire day was filled with laughter and dancing. They even made the same face when I said “you’re getting married today!” :) Join us for their seriously fun southern celebration!

I met Michael + Chelsea at a wedding several years ago and was so excited to see they finally got engaged and even more excited when Chelsea contacted me about taking some portraits together! These two are getting married on the beach in the Dominican Republic next month but with a winter wedding they wanted some snuggly couple portraits in Louisville together too. With flurries falling this fun pair danced and laughed their way through the chilly December afternoon. An Irish boy and Colorado girl met in Kentucky the old fashioned way- through mutual friends at a bar! These two horse lovers went their separate ways for five years but eventually reconnected and the rest, as they say, is history! Eventing and horse training keep them traveling and apart quite a bit but when they’re together this pair keep each other smiling and laughing.
