Meet Eric + Blair
These two met while working for CBS Sports. Even working for the same company, in the same building and on the same floor their paths rarely crossed or allowed them to exchange more than casual conversation…. until a holiday party in 2013 when everything changed! Fueled by "liquid courage” the apparent quiet girl from the South and the sarcastic New Yorker started chatting…and bar hopping…and dancing. The night ended with a “sweep you off your feet” line romantically delivered by Eric, “Shut up so I can kiss you”. It worked!
They went their official first date a few weeks later and after that they became almost inseparable.
Now these two cross paths a bit more frequently the quiet girl from the South is a bit more talkative. The sarcastic New Yorker is still sarcastic. They remain inseparable. Eric even introduced Blair to favorite hobby- running marathons!
They currently call New York City home but decided that Lexington, Kentucky would be the perfect setting for their “I do’s”! They wed on a rainy Saturday in May, surrounded by their dearest family and friends. A spontaneous storm even delayed their ceremony a bit- but some patience allowed them to exchange vows under the Chuppah on the Keeneland Clubhouse lawn. Their entire day and celebration was filled with laughter and dancing. They even made the same face when I said “you’re getting married today!” :)
Eric and Blair- it has been an absolute JOY getting to know you both over the past year and I loved getting to be such an intimate part of your wedding day. I truly hope the photos do your memories justice and that you will love and treasure them for many years to come!
