Michael + Leslie Tie the Knot

Meet Michael + Leslie

Back in 2008 Michael, a sophomore, tried his best to ask out Leslie, a senior he had developed a crush on while they attended the same boarding school. On the sidelines at a Lacrosse scrimmage he asked her “Hey...so lacrosse is fun, right?”. Much to his surprise- it didn’t land him a date. Ten years later Michael’s confidence speaking to women improved and he decided to take another chance on his high school crush after he realized a West Point teammate of his was signed to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team Leslie works for. It was the perfect “in” because they started dating and were engaged less than a year later!

On June 1, 2019 they tied the knot in a short-and-sweet ceremony at Second Presbyterian Church in Lexington, Kentucky. Friends and family joined them for a gorgeous reception and party at the Idle Hour Country Club where they danced the night away under an ivy canopy to the Heather Hayes Experience.
