With the arrival of Hadley Grace, dad is officially outnumbered! The Petit family welcomed their second baby girl this summer and they invited me into their home to document them together.

Meet Isabel! She’s a 2020 high school senior and we snapped some portraits of her at Ashland, Henry Clay Estate in Lexington, Kentucky to celebrate her upcoming graduation. Enjoy some of my favorites from our session together!

Billy + Alex are cat loving, Netflix binging, pizza eating, UK Wildcat loving beer connoisseurs. They are effortlessly fun with each other and it was a blast to bounce around Lexington with them for an evening to document their love for each other at the University of Kentucky and their favorite watering hole, West Sixth Brewery. Brad and Bennett are high school best friends that realized they had a thing for each other in college. They have since made Lexington their home together with their three sweet pups! When they aren’t working they love to spend time outdoors on the weekends in Red River Gorge- which is where they recently got engaged! We spent a beautiful fall evening at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky for their engagement session to catch the fall color and capture their love for each other. College sweethearts, Stephen and Molly, officially became the Gordinier’s at the Ashford Acres Inn in Cynthiana, Kentucky on a memorably stormy day in August. They shared a first look and vows on the front steps of the inn, danced beneath the giant trees and celebrated as only they could. I hope you enjoy some favorites from their wedding day!

This is a new chapter to a love story that began in 2008. High school sweethearts, these two have truly grown up together. They got engaged ten years almost to the day after they started dating and finally became Mr. and Mrs. Beath on a beautiful day this past May. Back in 2008 Michael, a sophomore, tried his best to ask out Leslie, a senior he had developed a crush on while they attended the same boarding school. While his ability to talk her into a date didn’t work in 2008, he took another chance almost ten years later with great success! They were engaged within a year and tied the knot on June 1, 2019 in Lexington, Ky. Enjoy some favorites from their vows at Second Presbyterian Church and the celebration that followed at Idle Hour Country Club!

Joel, Emma and baby Viv currently call Taiwan home but while visiting family in the U.S. they squeezed in some time for family photos with me at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky! Even at a few months old Viv is already full of personality and kept us all laughing with her giggles and scowls and looks of judgement. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites! <3

Meet The Billy + Mackenzie! Though the real star here is their little lady, Marley. She’s officially spent half a year bettering their lives with drool and giggles- plus she’s sitting by herself now! When you’re 6 months old that skill is one of the highest accomplishments and deserves documentation! :) Enjoy our gorgeous evening out at Keeneland celebrating this fun little lady!
