Meet Stephen + Molly
Stephen and Molly met in college at the University of Kentucky and have spent many years together traveling the world, raising a dog and finally deciding to go forth into the adventure of marriage!
They say rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck and if that’s the case these two are in for a very lucky future! A beautiful day for the last day of August, a stormy possibility was in the forecast all day, bu the optimistic couple wanted to carry on as planned. As they exited the steps of the Ashford Acres Inn after their ceremony and turned the corner, the wind picked up and dark stormy clouds blanketed in the sky. For over an hour golfball sized hail pelted the property and guests hunkered down inside the house and the Ashford Acres Inn staff miraculously and meticulously moved and reset the entire reception inside their gorgeous barn. Thankfully the storm passed just as the last light of the day peeked out of the clouds and we were able to take some beautiful portraits together outside before the party got to start!
It was certainly a memorable wedding day and a crazy story couldn’t have happened to two better people. It was a joy to witness Stephen and Molly officially become the Gordinier’s and celebrate with their family and closest friends. I hope you enjoy getting to see some favorites of mine from their day!
