Kate and Jonathan met at the Lexington farmers market, had their first of many dates at Cup of Commonwealth coffee shop and plan to be married at Limestone Hall. We visited the places that are part of the past, present and future in their love story for their engagement session and it was so much fun. Brad and Bennett are high school best friends that realized they had a thing for each other in college. They have since made Lexington their home together with their three sweet pups! When they aren’t working they love to spend time outdoors on the weekends in Red River Gorge- which is where they recently got engaged! We spent a beautiful fall evening at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky for their engagement session to catch the fall color and capture their love for each other. Meet The Coach House at Zorro Event Center! Is it weird to meet a building? Not when it’s one of the most gorgeous new event spaces in Lexington, Ky! Located in an area popular for fox hunting the Spanish word for fox, Zorro, is a fitting name for this gorgeous newly built barn set in the bluegrass countryside. It’s seamless interior boasts stone floors, reclaimed wood walls, hidden entrances off the main space and multiple sets of double doors that open up to views of the surrounding fields and forest (and none of that includes the phenomenal upstairs spaces!). Back in 2008 Michael, a sophomore, tried his best to ask out Leslie, a senior he had developed a crush on while they attended the same boarding school. While his ability to talk her into a date didn’t work in 2008, he took another chance almost ten years later with great success! They were engaged within a year and tied the knot on June 1, 2019 in Lexington, Ky. Meet Corey + Noel. These high school sweethearts started dating their junior year and have since truly grown up together. As life brought them big life changes they navigated them together hand in hand. They tied the knot at Manchester Music Hall in Lexington, Kentucky in April. David and Chelsea met at work, fell in love during many dates at Keeneland and got engaged on the shores of South Carolina. These Lexington natives fiercely love their pets (their Corgi even made an appearance), laughing with their friends and celebrating like it’s going out of style.
