Back in 2008 Michael, a sophomore, tried his best to ask out Leslie, a senior he had developed a crush on while they attended the same boarding school. While his ability to talk her into a date didn’t work in 2008, he took another chance almost ten years later with great success! They were engaged within a year and tied the knot on June 1, 2019 in Lexington, Ky. A seemingly quiet southern girl from Kentucky finally connected with a sarcastic New Yorker at a CBS Sports Holiday party. Following their first date, Eric and Blair were essentially inseparable. They currently call New York City home but decided that Lexington, Kentucky would be the perfect setting for their “I do’s”! They wed on a rainy Saturday in May, surrounded by their dearest family and friends on the Keeneland Clubhouse lawn. Their entire day was filled with laughter and dancing. Alex and Megan are a classic tale of country boy meets city girl, except in Kentucky that doesn’t always make them so different! ;) Alex grew up playing football in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and Megan in the bustling metropolis of Lexington, learning how to bet on horses at the track before she could drive a car. They met a bar during finals week and went on their first date to W.T. Young Library on campus- but quickly learned they had many mutual friends, a love of adventure and the outdoors. This adventurous couple loves to travel, hunt, fish and enjoy their favorite Kentucky hotspots. Keeneland was an obvious venue choice for this Kentucky loving couple. Guy and Kate met while working for the University of Kentucky Athletics department. Ironically- it was a lack of athleticism that first connected the two.
