Zainab met her husband, Humza, while in college. The college sweethearts married in 2017 but had an unusually long gap between their next Muslim marriage celebrations planned to be held in 2020. With the world rocked by a pandemic they changed course and held their Rukhsati, a traditional send off by the elders of the family, at Zainab’s parent’s home in Lexington, KY.

When Izabela studied abroad at the University of Kentucky many years ago she fell in love with Kentucky and decided to come back for Graduate School! Although she had to leave her beloved Belgian Malinois pup home in Brazil, her fiancé, Marcio, came to Kentucky with her. They decided to get married with an intimate courthouse ceremony and celebration in Lexington!

This is a new chapter to a love story that began in 2008. High school sweethearts, these two have truly grown up together. They got engaged ten years almost to the day after they started dating and finally became Mr. and Mrs. Beath on a beautiful day this past May. A seemingly quiet southern girl from Kentucky finally connected with a sarcastic New Yorker at a CBS Sports Holiday party. Following their first date, Eric and Blair were essentially inseparable. They currently call New York City home but decided that Lexington, Kentucky would be the perfect setting for their “I do’s”! They wed on a rainy Saturday in May, surrounded by their dearest family and friends on the Keeneland Clubhouse lawn. Their entire day was filled with laughter and dancing. Sitting beside Glenn's Creek in Frankfort, Ky the Old Taylor Distillery property is now a revitalized bourbon distillery named Castle and Key. The grounds offer an industrial haven of still abandoned warehouses, a gorgeous sunken garden, a spring house with Greek/Roman references and other buildings with surprises behind their doors.
