Meet Zainab

Zainab met her husband, Humza, while in college. The college sweethearts married in 2017 but had an unusually long gap between their next Muslim marriage celebrations planned to be held in 2020. With the world rocked by a pandemic they changed course and held their Rukhsati, a traditional send off by the elders of the family, at Zainab’s parent’s home in Lexington, KY.

Zainab wore a stunning lehenga dress and the couple spent the afternoon welcoming and socializing with friends and family. Their stunning decor was courtesy of Nadia’s Elegant Events with desserts by Martine’s Pastries.
