Zainab met her husband, Humza, while in college. The college sweethearts married in 2017 but had an unusually long gap between their next Muslim marriage celebrations planned to be held in 2020. With the world rocked by a pandemic they changed course and held their Rukhsati, a traditional send off by the elders of the family, at Zainab’s parent’s home in Lexington, KY.

Jessica was the type of girl who swore she’d never get married… until she met Mathew- obviously. :) As plans came together they decided on an intimate wedding on Earth Day, April 22nd, with sunrise ceremony plans in place… life dealt them a new card- a pandemic. They persevered with their original date and got married on the front lawn of Jessica’s mother’s house with an intimate affair but traded sunrise for sunset and spaced chairs for their family 6 feet apart. It was a day filled with joy that turned out absolutely perfect for them. I hope you enjoy seeing some favorites!

Trey + Julia married on a warm Saturday afternoon in September surrounded by their children, family and closest friends in Versailles, Kentucky at Wildside Winery, a place they love to visit together. Jeremy and Brooke met in college at Western Kentucky University and soon after graduation settled down in Brooke’s hometown of Bardstown with their two boxer fur babies. Meet Scott and Brittany! These two goof balls casually met during a rotation Brittany had for physical therapy and though they didn't hit off right away, the two kept in contact online for a year- mostly talking about sports :) These two wanted some fun, non-traditional engagement photos to show off their personalities so we mixed those goofy ones in with the pretty and romantic ones. It was such a joy to spend an evening with them at Locust Grove in Louisville.
