Happilee Ever After | Jeremy + Brooke
Jeremy and Brooke met in college at Western Kentucky University and soon after settled down in Brooke’s hometown of Bardstown with their two boxer fur babies. They were engaged on the Louisville waterfront where Jeremy surprised Brooke with not only a proposal but also an engagement party with more than 50 family and friends in attendance. It was only fitting that their wedding celebration was filled with a substantial crowd of family and friends.
When I arrived on the morning of their wedding, Brooke was showing off a drawing from a childhood book titled “girlfriends”. Her mystery groom may have not turned out to be blonde but I’m guessing she’s more than ok with how things ended up :) Both of Brooke’s parents teared up from her sweet gifts and Jeremy and his guys were endlessly laughing- despite the fact it was boiling hot in the historic Old Talbott Tavern where they got ready. The ceremony took place in Brooke’s hometown church, St. Joseph, and we made “just a field and some trees” work for gorgeous sunset portraits. The party really got started at the reception with some delicious southern food, a 90’s song toast from Brooke’s sister, Shelby, and a dance floor that was never empty the entire night!
