Spitzer Fits Her | Eric + Blair
A seemingly quiet southern girl from Kentucky finally connected with a sarcastic New Yorker at a CBS Sports Holiday party. Following their first date, Eric and Blair were essentially inseparable. They currently call New York City home but decided that Lexington, Kentucky would be the perfect setting for their βI doβsβ! They wed on a rainy Saturday in May, surrounded by their dearest family and friends on the Keeneland Clubhouse lawn. Their entire day was filled with laughter and dancing. They even made the same face when I said βyouβre getting married today!β :) Join us for their seriously fun southern celebration!
Marry Mack | David + Chelsea
David and Chelsea met at work, fell in love during many dates at Keeneland and got engaged on the shores of South Carolina. These Lexington natives fiercely love their pets (their Corgi even made an appearance), laughing with their friends and celebrating like itβs going out of style. I did my best to document the goofiness of this fun loving, laid back pair and hope you smile from ear to ear as you relive their downtown Lexington wedding day. Join us for their vows at St. Paul Catholic Church, portraits around Limestone Hall + Gratz Park and celebration at the Mane on Main in Lexington, Kentucky. Enjoy!
Detoma Takes a Holaday
I've known this couple for quite some time. Gus, as one of my high school best friend's (Katy) younger brothers, and Amanda as one Katy's best friends from college. Somewhere along through the family gatherings and visits home to the Detomaβs- the glances and jokes exchanged between Gus + Amanda turned in to something more. As they say- the rest is history. :) Join us for the wedding day of this goofy and kind hearted couple at the Round Barn at Red Mile Stable of Memories in Lexington, Ky.
Happily Ever Anderson | Zack + Amy
Zack + Amy met as students at the University of Kentucky and found themselves back in Lexington to tie the knot! They chose Fasig Tipton, a gorgeous Thoroughbred Auction Company with grounds right in the heart of the bluegrass and blanketed in a soft layer of beautiful fall leaves. Join us for their fun and colorful Kentucky wedding!
To Have and to Holmes | DJ + Kailey
DJ + Kailey married on a beautiful day in Lexington, KY. Their sweet celebration was filled with sentimental family touches and, as expected with this pair, tons of laughter (and maybe a few tears). :) Join us for their vows at the Church at Athens and their celebration at Boone's Trace National Golf Club. Enjoy!
Out at the Orchard | Hester Family
It's hard to believe little Bobbie is already 6 months old! I photographed his newborn photos and getting to his personality shining through and watching him squeal and love on Nelly is so fun! We enjoyed an evening together at Eckert's Boyd Orchard and nearby Pisgah church to document this fun age and get a few new family photos. Enjoy!
Happilee Ever After | Jeremy + Brooke
Jeremy and Brooke met in college at Western Kentucky University and soon after graduation settled down in Brookeβs hometown of Bardstown with their two boxer fur babies. It was only fitting that their celebration was filled with a substantial crowd of family and friends! Join us for their bright and beauitufl Bardstown, Kentucky wedding day!
The Next Adventure Begins | Adam + Brianna
These two best friends got engaged at Gattitown- apparently exactly 630 tickets can get you a proposal from the prize stand ;) and then went to Italy. So basically a location is secondary to them having an amazing time together and their wedding absolutely reflected that! Enjoy their gorgeous, fun-filled summer wedding at the Ashley Inn in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.
Scott + Brittany Engaged!
Meet Scott and Brittany! These two goof balls casually met during a rotation Brittany had for physical therapy and though they didn't hit off right away, the two kept in contact online for a year- mostly talking about sports :) These two wanted some fun, non-traditional engagement photos to show off their personalities so we mixed those goofy ones in with the pretty and romantic ones. It was such a joy to spend an evening with them at Locust Grove in Louisville.
