Scott + Brittany Engaged!

I thought about naming this post "Before the Storm" because these two got engaged as a storm was blowing in at the edge of the Grand Canyon and because our session together was perfectly timed between a few days of stormy, rainy weather.

However, their day was gorgeous and it didn't seem right- so we'll keep it simple! :)

Meet Scott and Brittany! These two goof balls casually met during a rotation Brittany had for physical therapy and though they didn't hit off right away, the two kept in contact online for a year- mostly talking about sports :) Scott stood by Brittany's side through some very hard times and in between they have formed a love built on lots of laughter, traveling and a few trips to Churchhill Downs (that's why fashionista Brittany had to sport her biggest derby hat during the session!)

These two wanted some fun, non-traditional engagement photos to show off their personalities so we mixed those goofy ones in with the pretty and romantic ones. It was such a joy to spend an evening with them at Locust Grove in Louisville and I can't wait to document their wedding day story this fall! S+B I hope you LOVE your images.
