Meet Marcio + Izabela

When Izabela studied abroad at the University of Kentucky many years ago she fell in love with Kentucky and decided to come back for Graduate School! Although she had to leave her beloved Belgian Malinois pup home in Brazil, her fiancé Marcio came to Kentucky with her and they decided to get married with an intimate courthouse ceremony and celebration in Lexington!

I met up with them at the Fayette County Courthouse downtown as storm clouds started moving in on October 21st. We took windy pictures on top floor of a parking garage, cheered as they sealed their vows with a kidd, ran through the rain to get to their celebration dinner and enjoyed a champagne toast at Shakespeare and Co. to ring in the new Mr. + Mrs.!

It was an absolutely lovely day and I was so honored to document it. Congratulations Marcio + Izabela!
