This is a new chapter to a love story that began in 2008. High school sweethearts, these two have truly grown up together. They got engaged ten years almost to the day after they started dating and finally became Mr. and Mrs. Beath on a beautiful day this past May. Joel, Emma and baby Viv currently call Taiwan home but while visiting family in the U.S. they squeezed in some time for family photos with me at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky! Even at a few months old Viv is already full of personality and kept us all laughing with her giggles and scowls and looks of judgement. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites! <3

Justin + Jessica met through mutual friends while attending Transylvania University. After Justin graduated they made things official and have been enjoying of concerts, drinking bourbon, stand up comedy shows and their dog, Kobe, since 2012. For their engagement session we visited many places in Lexington they love- including Transy where they met, The Burl where they love to see shows, The Lexington Distillery District and a favorite bar of theirs, The Village Idiot, and ended the evening with some after dark photos in downtown Lexington. Meet The Billy + Mackenzie! Though the real star here is their little lady, Marley. She’s officially spent half a year bettering their lives with drool and giggles- plus she’s sitting by herself now! When you’re 6 months old that skill is one of the highest accomplishments and deserves documentation! :) Enjoy our gorgeous evening out at Keeneland celebrating this fun little lady!

D.j. + Kailey brought their little man into the studio to document his first year of life! Mason spends his days going from superhero to snuggling Elmo to giving well intentional open mouth kisses to mom and dad. :) Enjoy their family session at the Studio Lex in Lexington, Kentucky.

Gabrielle + Andrew met while she was finishing her masters at the University of Kentucky and within a few years they got engaged in London, England, bought a home together, are raising their spunky Scottish Terrier named Snow and are planning their wedding for next year! <3 Join us for their engagement session at Buffalo Trace Distillery and the University of Kentucky!

David and Chelsea met at work, fell in love during many dates at Keeneland and got engaged on the shores of South Carolina. These Lexington natives fiercely love their pets (their Corgi even made an appearance), laughing with their friends and celebrating like it’s going out of style. I did my best to document the goofiness of this fun loving, laid back pair and hope you smile from ear to ear as you relive their downtown Lexington wedding day. Peter and Dominique loaded up the family, including the family dog Rollo and Peter’s parents, to enjoy an afternoon running through the corn stalks, watching Rollo deal with Noah’s loving but aggressive hugs and seeing Ron befriend the local camel at Eckert-Boyd Orchard in Versailles, Kentucky.
