Trey + Julia married on a warm Saturday afternoon in September surrounded by their children, family and closest friends in Versailles, Kentucky at Wildside Winery, a place they love to visit together. It was a beautiful day focused on what meant most to them and I loved getting to document it for them. I hope you enjoy a some of my favorites! <3

Almost seven years ago I was standing in this exact spot photographing Brendan + Dominique on their wedding day. Things have changed quite a bit for them since then so with their anniversary coming up we planned a quick mini family session while they were in Louisville in the same spot they said, “I do!”. It was so special to see them again and attempt to recreate an image they love from their wedding day- but with four kiddos in the frame too. Enjoy! <3

The Horton’s are a special family to me because they were one of my very first weddings I ever photographed. Now every few years they invite me back to take pictures of their family and it is an absolute treat to see them as parents. They met me close to sunrise at Alms Park in Cincinnati with bagels and coffee and we bribed some authentic smiles out of their spunky kiddos. Enjoy!

Joel, Emma and baby Viv currently call Taiwan home but while visiting family in the U.S. they squeezed in some time for family photos with me at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky! Even at a few months old Viv is already full of personality and kept us all laughing with her giggles and scowls and looks of judgement. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites! <3

Meet The Billy + Mackenzie! Though the real star here is their little lady, Marley. She’s officially spent half a year bettering their lives with drool and giggles- plus she’s sitting by herself now! When you’re 6 months old that skill is one of the highest accomplishments and deserves documentation! :) Enjoy our gorgeous evening out at Keeneland celebrating this fun little lady!

D.j. + Kailey brought their little man into the studio to document his first year of life! Mason spends his days going from superhero to snuggling Elmo to giving well intentional open mouth kisses to mom and dad. :) Enjoy their family session at the Studio Lex in Lexington, Kentucky.

Paige + Jarren are in the final weeks before they add a little boy, Emmett, to their family! I joined them on Paige’s grandmother’s property in Bardstown, Kentucky to snap some maternity photos for them amongst the garden, barn and colorful spring blooms. Enjoy!

This sweet family has invited me to document them many times and this time it was to celebrate little E turning 6 months old. Our session turned more into bribery with M&ms, shoulder rides, tickle fights and kisses and that’s exactly the way it should be :) I adore this family and hope you enjoy their session at the Studio Lex!
