I joined family at the University of Kentucky Arboretum for a mini session to document some portraits of them with baby Mia! We strolled through the gardens chatting about how they grew up two hours from each other in Mexico but met in the U.S. and tried our best to get three month old Mia to show us her beautiful smile. It was so wonderful to meet them and I hope everyone enjoys their sweet images! <3

A couple of Scots living in London, England decided to cross Kentucky off their travel bucket list and elope while doing so! On one of the rainiest days I’ve ever seen these two grabbed umbrellas, joined hands and officially tied the knot in Frankfort, Kentucky. We roamed around downtown, dried off at Buffalo Trace Distillery where they had a perfect impromptu toast from another distillery guest and ended with some special portraits in the barrel house. These high school sweethearts dreamed of their wedding day together since the first days of their relationship and were so excited when the day finally arrived! :) A+A love UK but will be cheering on the Cats from their new home in Alabama this year as Austin continues his veterinary education and Alyson teaches first grade! It was an absolute honor to be part of their wedding day and celebrate with your nearest + dearest. 

Julie + Matt welcomed little Maisy a few weeks earlier than expected (just like mom!). She's been a wide eyed addition to their already full and energetic house. We spent an afternoon together trying to keep Maisy asleep on someone's shoulder and even managed to get a full family photo on the bed (but cruise to the last photo to see how it looked most of the time ;)) Enjoy their in home newborn session in Georgetown, Kentucky!

Holly + Tyler, inspired by a trip to Ireland together, knew the name Sutton was the perfect unique name for their baby girl. Autumn + Joey welcomed baby Georgiana in June and she has completely stolen their hearts. It's always an honor to document a family at the beginning of a new chapter in their lives and spend quiet moments with them at home. These little details are fleeting treasures; the way Georgi lays and positions her legs because she was born breech, how Autumn strokes her arm and kisses her feet during feeding and the way Joey's facial hair makes her face crunch. Alex + Brooke have been watching their little man Graham grow for the last 6 months- he's still trying to sit up on his own but filling any space he's in with adorable smiles! Cousin Addie joined in for some photos too so these cuties have some portraits growing up together! <3 We spent an evening at Keeneland making funny noises to earn some smiles, chatting about our favorite ice cream and envisioning these cousins hopefully enjoying Keeneland together in the far, far future. :)
