Morales Mini Session
I joined family at the University of Kentucky Arboretum for a mini session to document some portraits of them with baby Mia! We strolled through the gardens chatting about how they grew up two hours from each other in Mexico but met in the U.S. and tried our best to get three month old Mia to show us her beautiful smile. It was so wonderful to meet them and I hope everyone enjoys their sweet images! <3
A Good Day at the Orchard
Join us for a day of picking apples with the Good family at Eckert-Boyd Orchard in Versailles, Kentucky.
The Littlest Wright
Luke + Kendall invited me to their new home in the Chicagoland area to spend an evening with them, their fur babies and their newest addition, Silas! It was such a joy to see them in a new role as mom and dad, eat Italian take out and get to veg on the couch together the next day. Silas is one loved little guy that has playing baseball, cheering for the Cats and possibly attending UK in the class of 2041 in his future ;)
Joyfully Jones
Join us for an evening at Freeman Lake in Elizabethtown, Kentucky with the Jones Family! Their portraits are especially exciting because Matt + Mary Ann were my very first wedding couple ever and chose me to document their family on their ten year wedding anniversary! It was so special to see them again and create some beautiful updated photos of their little family. Enjoy!
Dearly Detisch | Michael + Mallory
Michael + Mallory married under a walnut tree at Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate surrounded by their closest friends and family on a humid September afternoon. They strolled through the beautiful Ashland gardens hand-in-hand before celebrating over brews and barbecue at Blue Stallion Brewing Company! It was a beautiful day that was perfectly them and Iβd love for you to enjoy their day!
Frankfort Elopement | Patrick + Kate
A couple of Scots living in London, England decided to cross Kentucky off their travel bucket list and elope while doing so! On one of the rainiest days Iβve ever seen these two grabbed umbrellas, joined hands and officially tied the knot in Frankfort, Kentucky. We roamed around downtown, dried off at Buffalo Trace Distillery where they had a perfect impromptu toast from another distillery guest and ended with some special portraits in the barrel house. Join us for their fun and rainy elopement!
Perfectly Parsons
From their first meeting Leah knew that Ricky was the man she had been praying for but life took them different directions for a few years until they were set up on Halloween in 2015. Finally they were in the same place and could make things official. Theyβve been building a home together ever since and married in Ashland, Kentucky at the historic Train Depot and enjoyed night time portrait around the historic Paramount Theater.
Mini Mazzetti
Marcie + Martin are getting ready to add two little baby boy feet to their family in October and what better way to celebrate a fall baby than with a portrait session at the orchard? :) Even though the day of our session still very much felt like summer, we still picked some apples and enjoyed an afternoon at Eckertβs Boyd Orchard in Versailles, Kentucky.
Duckworthy Goods Commercial Shoot
Duckworthy Goods is a business founded by one of my long time clients and friends, Cody Lokits, and his brother Brandon Lokits. They created this line of luxury duck canvas and leather travel bags to meet a need in the market they felt was missing. A functional and fashionable bag for those who want to adventure well. Here are some of my favorite images for the commercial branding and promo shoot for Duckworthy Goods.
