Meet Matt + Mary Ann
And their spunky daughters, of course! M+M were the very first wedding couple that Seriously Sabrina Photography ever photographed and this photography session was to celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary! A very special and humbling occasion and so much fun to get to see them again after all these years!
Mary Ann’s brother connected us all those years ago when I was someone he knew who had a nice camera and was dabbling in photography. We all start somewhere :) Having never even ATTENDED a wedding before- I agreed to shoot his sister’s wedding and split half my payment with my friend Britney from the campus newspaper because she knew how a wedding worked and could show me the ropes. :)
The rest, as they say, is history! Matt + Mary Ann have now ben happily married for ten years, have two beautiful little girls to keep them busy and still have the same goofiness with each other I remember. It was so good to spend an evening with them at Freeman Lake in Elizabethtown, Kentucky watching Piper chase squirrels and Scarlett try to keep up with her older sister on the jungle gym. Cheers to many more years for the Jones’s! <3
