Trey + Julia married on a warm Saturday afternoon in September surrounded by their children, family and closest friends in Versailles, Kentucky at Wildside Winery, a place they love to visit together. I was up before the sun on a very hot July morning to join Alexis Sheffield and her Corgi, Remy, out on the farm to pick flowers for her business Wild Roots Farmer Florist. We chatted as the sun rose and dew wet her jeans and feet about the schedule her life takes in the colorful months. All the hours outside of her 9-5 job are spent tending the garden, picking flowers, assembling beautiful arrangements for deliveries, bouquets, and weddings- and we laughed when I asked her literally sit and immerse herself in the marigolds <3 Join us out in the field and see how beautiful her hard work is.

Steven and Monika are Kentucky natives and travel nurses. They currently live full-time in an RV in Reno, Nevada with their precious pups. On a recent trip back to Kentucky we visited Red River Gorge to document their love for each other and their sense of adventure at Grays Arch (where they shared one of their first dates) and Miguels Pizza! While on a quick wedding planning trip to Kentucky I met up with Drew + Naz at their wedding venue The Vintage Barn at Merefield in Midway, Kentucky for an engagement session in the sunflower fields. It was truly a dreamy evening and I absolutely loved getting to experience how much there two laugh and play together. Seth + Rachel met when they hopped on a motorcycle together after briefly meeting through mutual friends. The past 7 years together have included a stormy beach proposal (lightning struck the moment he got down on one knee!) and adopting a sweet pup named Blu (aka Puppy of Honor) :)

They got married on a warm and overcast June afternoon in Lexington, Kentucky at the Round Barn Stable of Memories. The barn was filled with laughter during toasts and never saw an empty dance floor, which obviously means it was a celebration to remember! <3 Seth + Rachel, it has been an absolute joy getting to know you over the past year and I sincerely hope you love the way this chapter of your love story was documented!

Jaron + Anna are expecting a baby girl in the next few weeks! Although they currently live in Alabania, it was on a summer visit back to Kentucky that they decided to celebrate the pregnancy of their child with a photoshoot. They met me at sunrise before the summer heat set in and we frolicked int the sunflowers. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from our time together! :)
