Rawlings Got a Hart | Seth + Rachel
Seth + Rachel met when they hopped on a motorcycle together after briefly meeting through mutual friends. The past 7 years together have included a stormy beach proposal (lightning struck the moment he got down on one knee!) and adopting a sweet pup named Blu (aka Puppy of Honor) :)
They got married on a warm and overcast June afternoon in Lexington, Kentucky at the Round Barn Stable of Memories. The barn was filled with laughter during toasts and never saw an empty dance floor, which obviously means it was a celebration to remember! <3 Seth + Rachel, it has been an absolute joy getting to know you over the past year and I sincerely hope you love the way this chapter of your love story was documented!
The Coach House at Zorro Event Center Styled Wedding
Meet The Coach House at Zorro Event Center! Is it weird to meet a building? Not when it’s one of the most gorgeous new event spaces in Lexington, Ky! Located in an area popular for fox hunting the Spanish word for fox, Zorro, is a fitting name for this gorgeous newly built barn set in the bluegrass countryside. It’s seamless interior boasts stone floors, reclaimed wood walls, hidden entrances off the main space and multiple sets of double doors that open up to views of the surrounding fields and forest (and none of that includes the phenomenal upstairs spaces!). Join us for a beautifully styled wedding that can help you imagine yourself celebrating in this exquisite space!
You Are My Sunshine | Jaron + Anna
Jaron + Anna are expecting a baby girl in the next few weeks! Although they currently live in Alabania, it was on a summer visit back to Kentucky that they decided to celebrate the pregnancy of their child with a photoshoot. They met me at sunrise before the summer heat set in and we frolicked int the sunflowers. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from our time together! :)
Beath Got it Wright | John + Mary Catherine
This is a new chapter to a love story that began in 2008. High school sweethearts, these two have truly grown up together. They got engaged ten years almost to the day after they started dating and finally became Mr. and Mrs. Beath on a beautiful day this past May. Join us for their Pax Christi Catholic ceremony and celebration at the Round Barn Stable of Memories in Lexington, Ky!
Meet the McCartneys
Almost seven years ago I was standing in this exact spot photographing Brendan + Dominique on their wedding day. Things have changed quite a bit for them since then so with their anniversary coming up we planned a quick mini family session while they were in Louisville in the same spot they said, “I do!”. It was so special to see them again and attempt to recreate an image they love from their wedding day- but with four kiddos in the frame too. Enjoy! <3
The Hortons
The Horton’s are a special family to me because they were one of my very first weddings I ever photographed. Now every few years they invite me back to take pictures of their family and it is an absolute treat to see them as parents. They met me close to sunrise at Alms Park in Cincinnati with bagels and coffee and we bribed some authentic smiles out of their spunky kiddos. Enjoy!
Robbin' the House | Jarrett + Nicole
Jarrett + Nicole are respiratory therapists and dog lovers who married in Red River Gorge Kentucky on a steamy May Saturday surrounded by family and friends. Join us for their barn ceremony, reception and gorgeous sunset portraits at the Red River Gorge Wedding Barn and Event Venue. Enjoy!
Michael + Leslie Tie the Knot
Back in 2008 Michael, a sophomore, tried his best to ask out Leslie, a senior he had developed a crush on while they attended the same boarding school. While his ability to talk her into a date didn’t work in 2008, he took another chance almost ten years later with great success! They were engaged within a year and tied the knot on June 1, 2019 in Lexington, Ky. Enjoy some favorites from their vows at Second Presbyterian Church and the celebration that followed at Idle Hour Country Club!
Spitzer Fits Her | Eric + Blair
A seemingly quiet southern girl from Kentucky finally connected with a sarcastic New Yorker at a CBS Sports Holiday party. Following their first date, Eric and Blair were essentially inseparable. They currently call New York City home but decided that Lexington, Kentucky would be the perfect setting for their “I do’s”! They wed on a rainy Saturday in May, surrounded by their dearest family and friends on the Keeneland Clubhouse lawn. Their entire day was filled with laughter and dancing. They even made the same face when I said “you’re getting married today!” :) Join us for their seriously fun southern celebration!
