Chris and Sarah started out as long distance friends from an internet game they played together but as life brought them geographically closer together their friendship blossomed closer too. Their love story continued to span thousands of miles as jobs, school and visiting family called for lots of time on the road both together and apart. Their hearts remained close regardless of the distance and lead them here- to their wedding day! They wed under cool Saturday with overcast skies on October 13th. Jared met Megan while studying at Eastern Kentucky University but it took years of their paths crossing for him to finally ask her on a date. A few years later at 11:11, a time that Megan always makes a wish, Jared told Megan his wish and they were officially engaged! Fast forward to October 6th, the day they said "I do!" under partly cloudy skies at the Cedar Springs Pavilion in Tipp City, Ohio. Their Great Gatsby inspired celebration was an unforgettable day. Andrea + Benjamin chose me to photograph their wedding in 2014 and it was such a joy to see them again and to photograph this next chapter in their story! After trying for a few years they are finally expecting a baby girl in February and wanted some photos to document this sweet time. We spent a little time together in the forest at Jacobson Park and would love for you to join us in their joy!

Meet Raegan! This sweet and fierce high school senior is an incredible volleyball player and is off to Rhodes College next year. We spent an afternoon in downtown Lexington showing off her personality and it was such a blast! Join us to see the magic we created together.

Louisa is the newest addition to the Boersma family and she’s already got mom, dad and fur-sister Marigold wrapped around her little fingers <3 I photographed Ron + Hannah Beth’s wedding last September and was delighted to be asked to document their growing family while I was in Michigan recently. I met Camryn when she interviewed me for a school project last year and we immediately hit it off as kindered spirits. She loves 4-H, Harry Potter and photography- so we had endless things to talk about! :) She's a high school senior this year and I was so honored that she chose to come to Lexington to do her senior photos with me! <3 We had a blast and she totally trusted all my crazy ideas- especially those after dark ideas to bring a little magic to her love of Harry Potter! Molly + Stephen met in college over 7 years ago. Over that time they've traveled, adopted a dog and had many long chats about the future. Luckily that future includes each other because Stephen asked a question and Molly answered "yes"! :) They met me at sunrise in Bernheim Forest near Molly's hometown of Bardstown to document their love for each other and we had a truly beautiful morning romping through the scenery together. Rachel + Seth met through mutual friends but the love story begins with her hopping on the back his motorcycle and everything just clicked! They spent a lot of days driving country roads together so we let that inspire their engagement session in Lexington, Kentucky. We stopped at Eckert's Boyd Orchard, Pisgah Church and ended our mini country drive at Keeneland.
