Billy + Alex are cat loving, Netflix binging, pizza eating, UK Wildcat loving beer connoisseurs. They are effortlessly fun with each other and it was a blast to bounce around Lexington with them for an evening to document their love for each other at the University of Kentucky and their favorite watering hole, West Sixth Brewery. Brad and Bennett are high school best friends that realized they had a thing for each other in college. They have since made Lexington their home together with their three sweet pups! When they aren’t working they love to spend time outdoors on the weekends in Red River Gorge- which is where they recently got engaged! We spent a beautiful fall evening at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky for their engagement session to catch the fall color and capture their love for each other. Trey + Julia married on a warm Saturday afternoon in September surrounded by their children, family and closest friends in Versailles, Kentucky at Wildside Winery, a place they love to visit together. Meet The Coach House at Zorro Event Center! Is it weird to meet a building? Not when it’s one of the most gorgeous new event spaces in Lexington, Ky! Located in an area popular for fox hunting the Spanish word for fox, Zorro, is a fitting name for this gorgeous newly built barn set in the bluegrass countryside. It’s seamless interior boasts stone floors, reclaimed wood walls, hidden entrances off the main space and multiple sets of double doors that open up to views of the surrounding fields and forest (and none of that includes the phenomenal upstairs spaces!). Almost seven years ago I was standing in this exact spot photographing Brendan + Dominique on their wedding day. Things have changed quite a bit for them since then so with their anniversary coming up we planned a quick mini family session while they were in Louisville in the same spot they said, “I do!”. It was so special to see them again and attempt to recreate an image they love from their wedding day- but with four kiddos in the frame too. Enjoy! <3

The Horton’s are a special family to me because they were one of my very first weddings I ever photographed. Now every few years they invite me back to take pictures of their family and it is an absolute treat to see them as parents. They met me close to sunrise at Alms Park in Cincinnati with bagels and coffee and we bribed some authentic smiles out of their spunky kiddos. Enjoy!

Joel, Emma and baby Viv currently call Taiwan home but while visiting family in the U.S. they squeezed in some time for family photos with me at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky!
