Louisa is the newest addition to the Boersma family and she’s already got mom, dad and fur-sister Marigold wrapped around her little fingers <3 I photographed Ron + Hannah Beth’s wedding last September and was delighted to be asked to document their growing family while I was in Michigan recently. Molly + Stephen met in college over 7 years ago. Over that time they've traveled, adopted a dog and had many long chats about the future. Luckily that future includes each other because Stephen asked a question and Molly answered "yes"! :) They met me at sunrise in Bernheim Forest near Molly's hometown of Bardstown to document their love for each other and we had a truly beautiful morning romping through the scenery together. Rachel + Seth met through mutual friends but the love story begins with her hopping on the back his motorcycle and everything just clicked! They spent a lot of days driving country roads together so we let that inspire their engagement session in Lexington, Kentucky. We stopped at Eckert's Boyd Orchard, Pisgah Church and ended our mini country drive at Keeneland. An Irish boy and Colorado girl met in Kentucky the old fashioned way- through mutual friends at a bar! These two horse lovers went their separate ways for five years but eventually reconnected and the rest, as they say, is history! Eventing and horse training keep them traveling and apart quite a bit but when they’re together this pair keep each other smiling and laughing. When Peter + Heather met they knew within a few dates that they had found their match! Both nerdy and shy, Peter found he could be his Dungeons and Dragon’s loving self with Heather’s all things Disney, Harry Potter and Fall Out Boy loving self. On September 30th, 2018 they wed under overcast skies at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois with portraits in the hedge garden and pinky promise vows. True to them, their celebration also featured board games, Fall Out Boy sing-a-longs on the dance floor and brunch! Join me for their beautiful day!

David and Chelsea met at work, fell in love during many dates at Keeneland and got engaged on the shores of South Carolina. These Lexington natives fiercely love their pets (their Corgi even made an appearance), laughing with their friends and celebrating like it’s going out of style. I did my best to document the goofiness of this fun loving, laid back pair and hope you smile from ear to ear as you relive their downtown Lexington wedding day. Miranda + Ryan welcomed Aubrey Rose to their wild crew in October! They invited me to spend a morning with them when Aubrey was just a few days old and I made a little photo magic out of the chaos. ;) I included a few outtakes that I hope get recreated as these kiddos grow up together. Enjoy! <3

This future palentologist just turned SIX! Brayden loves dinosaurs (his mom and I joked that he's totally channeling young Ross Gellar from Friends <3) and is a ball of energy! We spent a half hour at The Studio Cottage in Lexington, Kentucky driving upside down cars, jumping around in pillows and reading dinosaur books. After our session I got a text from his mom that said, "Brayden wants me to share that he wants you to babysit him because you are so fun. That's the highest honor from him!". I'm pretty sure that's the best review I've ever gotten <3
