Meet Corey + Noel. These high school sweethearts started dating their junior year and have since truly grown up together. As life brought them big life changes they navigated them together hand in hand. They tied the knot at Manchester Music Hall in Lexington, Kentucky in April. Luke + Kendall invited me to their new home in the Chicagoland area to spend an evening with them, their fur babies and their newest addition, Silas! It was such a joy to see them in a new role as mom and dad, eat Italian take out and get to veg on the couch together the next day. Silas is one loved little guy that has playing baseball, cheering for the Cats and possibly attending UK in the class of 2041 in his future ;)

Michael + Mallory married under a walnut tree at Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate surrounded by their closest friends and family on a humid September afternoon. They strolled through the beautiful Ashland gardens hand-in-hand before celebrating over brews and barbecue at Blue Stallion Brewing Company! It was a beautiful day that was perfectly them and I’d love for you to enjoy their day!

A couple of Scots living in London, England decided to cross Kentucky off their travel bucket list and elope while doing so! On one of the rainiest days I’ve ever seen these two grabbed umbrellas, joined hands and officially tied the knot in Frankfort, Kentucky. We roamed around downtown, dried off at Buffalo Trace Distillery where they had a perfect impromptu toast from another distillery guest and ended with some special portraits in the barrel house. Marcie + Martin are getting ready to add two little baby boy feet to their family in October and what better way to celebrate a fall baby than with a portrait session at the orchard? :) Even though the day of our session still very much felt like summer, we still picked some apples and enjoyed an afternoon at Eckert’s Boyd Orchard in Versailles, Kentucky.

Duckworthy Goods is a business founded by one of my long time clients and friends, Cody Lokits, and his brother Brandon Lokits. They created this line of luxury duck canvas and leather travel bags to meet a need in the market they felt was missing. A functional and fashionable bag for those who want to adventure well. It's a happy day in the Hester house because little Bobbie is officially a year old! This smiley and easy going guy Mikey Mouse, Donald Duck, watching the cars go by (him and Nelly were two peas in a pod during our photo session on this one!) and clapping whenever someone says, "yay Bobbie!" so- yay for Bobbie!
