I joined family at the University of Kentucky Arboretum for a mini session to document some portraits of them with baby Mia! We strolled through the gardens chatting about how they grew up two hours from each other in Mexico but met in the U.S. and tried our best to get three month old Mia to show us her beautiful smile. It was so wonderful to meet them and I hope everyone enjoys their sweet images! <3

Their portraits are especially exciting because Matt + Mary Ann were my very first wedding couple ever and chose me to document their family on their ten year wedding anniversary! Meet Karl + Marlie! If you know have the pleasure of knowing these two you know they are such a hilarious and genuine pair. The Schlitz Audubon Nature Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was the most gorgeous backdrop for their vows, portraits on lake Michigan and the (seriously-amazing-dance-filled) party that followed. These high school sweethearts dreamed of their wedding day together since the first days of their relationship and were so excited when the day finally arrived! :) A+A love UK but will be cheering on the Cats from their new home in Alabama this year as Austin continues his veterinary education and Alyson teaches first grade! It was an absolute honor to be part of their wedding day and celebrate with your nearest + dearest. 

Matt + Aubrey have a love founded on traveling, hiking and beer. When deciding between a Las Vegas poll party and a Mexico getaway to tie the knot… they chose BOTH. Overwhelmed with planning these two eloped in Las Vegas on their own and then invited all their favorite people to the beaches in Cozumel, Mexico to celebrate with them properly. They exchanged vows in an evening ceremony on the beach, dined with distant storms lighting up the skies and ended the evening with a sprint into the ocean as a thunderstorm rolled in. Join us for an adventure with a truly adventurous pair on the shores of Cozumel, Mexico at the Occidental Cozumel resort!

Alex + Brooke have been watching their little man Graham grow for the last 6 months- he's still trying to sit up on his own but filling any space he's in with adorable smiles! Cousin Addie joined in for some photos too so these cuties have some portraits growing up together! <3 We spent an evening at Keeneland making funny noises to earn some smiles, chatting about our favorite ice cream and envisioning these cousins hopefully enjoying Keeneland together in the far, far future. :)
