When I met up with Autumn + Joey for their maternity session last week the gender of their little babe was still unknown- but they have since welcomed a beautiful baby girl! I've known this couple for quite some time. Gus, as one of my high school best friend's (Katy) younger brothers, and Amanda as one Katy's best friends from college. Somewhere along through the family gatherings and visits home to the Detoma’s- the glances and jokes exchanged between Gus + Amanda turned in to something more. Guy + Kate got an extra surprise when Little Ryan arrived because they waited to find out the gender! So excited with a little girl, they gave her a name that was significant to both mom and dad. Ryan's fur brother, Rizzo, doesn't seem to find that she has mom and dad wrapped around her little finger already as they all settle in at home together as a family of four! Can't wait to see how she grows and changes and it was a such a joy to document this family together during their first few weeks at home in Lexington, Ky.

Blair + Eric crossed paths at their work holiday party in 2013 and have been head over heels for each other ever since. Last April Eric flew to Lexington for less than 24 hours to surprise Blair during a girls trip to town and surprised her on UK's campus with a ring and question. She obviously said yes and in proposal fashion- Eric flew home to NYC for less than 24 hours so I could snap some photos of him and Blair loving on each other in Central Park for their engagement session.
