There is no greater compliment than being able to create images for families time and time again. Nancy and Winn have been supporting my photography since the early days and still treasure some of those first portraits. So much so that Gran decided it was long overdue that the whole family get together and give her some new material for the frames in her house. :)

Patrick and Jenny met through their love of rock and metal music, festivals and flunky ball. They are a perfect match because they equal exactly one BBQ guest, Jenny drinks all the beer (he's alcohol free) and he eats all the meat (she's a vegetarian). Thankfully they both agree on how much they love cats and that food is the most important part of a great party. :)

These two best friends got engaged at Gattitown- apparently exactly 630 tickets can get you a proposal from the prize stand ;) and then went to Italy. So basically a location is secondary to them having an amazing time together and their wedding absolutely reflected that! Meet Scott and Brittany! These two goof balls casually met during a rotation Brittany had for physical therapy and though they didn't hit off right away, the two kept in contact online for a year- mostly talking about sports :) These two wanted some fun, non-traditional engagement photos to show off their personalities so we mixed those goofy ones in with the pretty and romantic ones. It was such a joy to spend an evening with them at Locust Grove in Louisville.

There are few accessories that spruce up a southern gentleman more than a bow tie. But who says that they have to be exclusively for the guys? Alex and I spent a gorgeous spring morning at Keeneland to show how a bow tie can spruce up a fancy outfit for a day at the races or special event as a fun accessory! Wear it like a tie or open/folded to reference a scarf or ascot.

Cody and Kayla welcomed home baby A a few weeks ago! They found they were having her while traveling Germany last year and already have big plans for her. Mostly that she will love UK, Land Rovers and wearing Kayla's baby shoes from the 80's. :) It was so wonderful to catch up with them and document a day at home for this new family of three. <3
