Alex + Cassie met while serving at P.F. Changs and found that would try to spend as much time around each other as they could. It took Cassie moving away from Lexington for Alex to make his move and ask Cassie out, which took her back to Lexington and the rest, as they say, is history! Over the years they’ve been together they’ve adopted a dog and appeared in several music videos as extras; and as themselves in Andy Grammar’s hit “Honey I’m Good”. I think you can see the reference to their wedding title there. :) They wed at the Round Barn Stable of Memories in Lexington, Kentucky in late November surrounded by laughter and love. I met Michael + Chelsea at a wedding several years ago and was so excited to see they finally got engaged and even more excited when Chelsea contacted me about taking some portraits together! These two are getting married on the beach in the Dominican Republic next month but with a winter wedding they wanted some snuggly couple portraits in Louisville together too. With flurries falling this fun pair danced and laughed their way through the chilly December afternoon. Karrie + Xavier shared their crew of kiddos with me for another year as their youngest, Kieran, just turned ONE! We threw tinsle like snow, taught Kieran how to drink Fanta and they let me spin them around like superheroes. Chris and Sarah started out as long distance friends from an internet game they played together but as life brought them geographically closer together their friendship blossomed closer too. Their love story continued to span thousands of miles as jobs, school and visiting family called for lots of time on the road both together and apart. Their hearts remained close regardless of the distance and lead them here- to their wedding day! They wed under cool Saturday with overcast skies on October 13th. Jared met Megan while studying at Eastern Kentucky University but it took years of their paths crossing for him to finally ask her on a date. A few years later at 11:11, a time that Megan always makes a wish, Jared told Megan his wish and they were officially engaged! Fast forward to October 6th, the day they said "I do!" under partly cloudy skies at the Cedar Springs Pavilion in Tipp City, Ohio. Their Great Gatsby inspired celebration was an unforgettable day. Andrea + Benjamin chose me to photograph their wedding in 2014 and it was such a joy to see them again and to photograph this next chapter in their story! After trying for a few years they are finally expecting a baby girl in February and wanted some photos to document this sweet time.
