I Do-Do | Luke + Katy
Luke + Katy have known each other since they were kids and unrequited crushes finally turned into the perfect match! Enjoy their farm wedding filled with Chacos, a pizza food truck, barefoot sunset portraits and touching toasts. This celebration was such a joy to be part of. Enjoy!
Grass Stained Knees and Swings | A Playful Family Session
Documenting families is one of my favorite things, especially when Iβve been doing so since Matt and Dawnβs wedding day. We spent a warm April evening playing on the backyard rope swing, blowing bubble and swinging at the park. Max and Evie are at such fun ages and I hope these photos freeze this pocket of time for them <3 Enjoy!
Laughter is their Love Language | DJ + Kailey
It's clear that DJ and Kailey communicate best through laughter- they are always cracking jokes and goofing off. DJ and Kailey felt like long lost friends the first time we met and they brought that same endearing energy to their engagement session. Enjoy some of my favorites from our time together at McConnell Springs nature park in Lexington, Kentucky.
A Magical Sunset Engagement | Peter + Dominique
For Peter and Dominique the roads of their love story have gone straight, weaved and split, split and weaved in yet they somehow always find their way back to each other. There are few stories I know better than theirs, which almost makes it harder to put into words. It was an honor to spend a beautiful sunny evening on the rolling hills of Kentucky to document their relationship so Iβll let the images speak for themselves.
Baby Hester
Itβs been such an blast to document Grace and Michaelβs love story from their engagement photos, to their wedding in 2015, to photos with their pup Nelly last year and now with them as a family of 4! Little Bobbie is already so full of personality! He arrived over a week past his due date, gives a seemingly judgemental side glance to his admirers and is destined to be a Disneyland lover with the vintage map and Mickey ears in his nursery. It will be so much fun to see how he grows.
Philip + Emma | Engaged!
Phillip and Emma met on a blind date that didn't go as they expected but have since grown incredibly close through unwavering support during medical trauma and loving on their dog Sophie. Enjoy their laughter filled spring time engagement session at the Science Hill Inn in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
Braxton Turns Five
Meet Braxton. Heβs now FIVE! Which to me is totally crazy because I have had the privilege of photographing him every year of his life. For year five that meant spending a few hours with him in the Lexington Explorium to blow bubbles, check the heartbeat of every stuffed animal at the vet and wash wooden boats down a flooded channel.
Welcome Little Elle V!
Welcome to the world sweet little Elle!
A few hours in the car and ten miles of winding roads found me at an old farm house in rural Indiana. A pair of tall dog eyes greeted me at the edge of my car window and a happy puppy close behind. Goose sent me in the house through the backdoor. Inside Caroline was nursing Elle- a few weeks old but barely fitting into her newborn clothing without swimming in them. Enjoy Elle's newborn session in her elephant themed nursery in rural Indiana.
Commonwealth Stadium Wedding | Guy + Kate
Guy and Kate met while working for the University of Kentucky Athletics department. Ironically- it was a lack of athleticism that first connected the two. Join these two for their sweet vows at the Christ the King Cathedral and their wedding celebration at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington, Kentucky.
