Michael + Mallory married under a walnut tree at Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate surrounded by their closest friends and family on a humid September afternoon. They strolled through the beautiful Ashland gardens hand-in-hand before celebrating over brews and barbecue at Blue Stallion Brewing Company! It was a beautiful day that was perfectly them and I’d love for you to enjoy their day!

Marcie + Martin are getting ready to add two little baby boy feet to their family in October and what better way to celebrate a fall baby than with a portrait session at the orchard? :) Even though the day of our session still very much felt like summer, we still picked some apples and enjoyed an afternoon at Eckert’s Boyd Orchard in Versailles, Kentucky.

Duckworthy Goods is a business founded by one of my long time clients and friends, Cody Lokits, and his brother Brandon Lokits. They created this line of luxury duck canvas and leather travel bags to meet a need in the market they felt was missing. A functional and fashionable bag for those who want to adventure well. Anyone who’s ever met the McCollums’ will tell you that this crew is filled to the brim with personality. Cooper is always quoting movies and picked up learning the guitar, Colleen is daydreaming about her future college in the Northeast and dad is always ready for a good day at Keeneland. These high school sweethearts dreamed of their wedding day together since the first days of their relationship and were so excited when the day finally arrived! :) A+A love UK but will be cheering on the Cats from their new home in Alabama this year as Austin continues his veterinary education and Alyson teaches first grade! It was an absolute honor to be part of their wedding day and celebrate with your nearest + dearest. 

Join us for Canines + Choreography- a fundraising event for Camp Jean, a dog rescue located in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky that specializes in special needs pets. For a small donation owners brought in their furry friends to be photographed with talented dance instructors and students of Premiere Dance, a dance studio in Lexington, Kentucky.

Julie + Matt welcomed little Maisy a few weeks earlier than expected (just like mom!). She's been a wide eyed addition to their already full and energetic house. We spent an afternoon together trying to keep Maisy asleep on someone's shoulder and even managed to get a full family photo on the bed (but cruise to the last photo to see how it looked most of the time ;)) Enjoy their in home newborn session in Georgetown, Kentucky!
