Michael + Mallory married under a walnut tree at Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate surrounded by their closest friends and family on a humid September afternoon. They strolled through the beautiful Ashland gardens hand-in-hand before celebrating over brews and barbecue at Blue Stallion Brewing Company! A couple of Scots living in London, England decided to cross Kentucky off their travel bucket list and elope while doing so! On one of the rainiest days I’ve ever seen these two grabbed umbrellas, joined hands and officially tied the knot in Frankfort, Kentucky. We roamed around downtown, dried off at Buffalo Trace Distillery where they had a perfect impromptu toast from another distillery guest and ended with some special portraits in the barrel house. They exchanged vows in an evening ceremony on the beach, dined with distant storms lighting up the skies and ended the evening with a sprint into the ocean as a thunderstorm rolled in.
