I joined family at the University of Kentucky Arboretum for a mini session to document some portraits of them with baby Mia! We strolled through the gardens chatting about how they grew up two hours from each other in Mexico but met in the U.S. and tried our best to get three month old Mia to show us her beautiful smile. It was so wonderful to meet them and I hope everyone enjoys their sweet images! <3

These high school sweethearts dreamed of their wedding day together since the first days of their relationship and were so excited when the day finally arrived! :) A+A love UK but will be cheering on the Cats from their new home in Alabama this year as Austin continues his veterinary education and Alyson teaches first grade! It was an absolute honor to be part of their wedding day and celebrate with your nearest + dearest. 

Brooke + Jeremy recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary but year number two will look a bit different with the addition of a baby girl! :) We spent an evening out on the farm in Bardstown, Kentucky to document this sweet time before little Avery arrives!

Corey + Noël are high school sweethearts ready to take on the next adventures together in life! The first of those adventures is their 50lb fur baby named Jax and the next is marriage! :) We enjoyed a summer evening at Keeneland together and ended with a bike ride- but the surprise is that the bikes are special! Corey's grandparent's gave them the vintage bikes that they too rode and loved... but they needed quite a bit of work. After some new tires, tune up and shine they were ready for a new life on the road starting with this photo session! <3

John + Toni met almost a decade ago and have followed each other from New York to Kentucky for jobs and school- frequenting breweries inbetween. They love to spend time together in the Distillery District so we strolled around on a steamy summer evening clinking glasses of beer to all of life's excitements- like their upcoming wedding, trip to the Mediterranean and their Pomeranian pup!

I’ve been photographing this little lady’s parents, Cody + Kayla, since they got engaged in 2012! It’s hard to believe miss Adelaide is already a year old! These two have literally grown up together and after more than a decade as boyfriend and girlfriend they get to upgrade to Mr. + Mrs. around this time next year! I've known this couple for quite some time. Gus, as one of my high school best friend's (Katy) younger brothers, and Amanda as one Katy's best friends from college. Somewhere along through the family gatherings and visits home to the Detoma’s- the glances and jokes exchanged between Gus + Amanda turned in to something more. Guy + Kate got an extra surprise when Little Ryan arrived because they waited to find out the gender! So excited with a little girl, they gave her a name that was significant to both mom and dad. Ryan's fur brother, Rizzo, doesn't seem to find that she has mom and dad wrapped around her little finger already as they all settle in at home together as a family of four! Can't wait to see how she grows and changes and it was a such a joy to document this family together during their first few weeks at home in Lexington, Ky.
