Any good media maven needs updated photos from time to time so we spent an evening strolling the downtown of Ashland for some updated images!

Just because you've been married a few years but don't have kids doesn't mean you don't deserve some updated portraits together! Amiright? I spent an afternoon with Grant + Kara as they cracked each other up and loved on each other at Buffalo Trace Distillery. Just because everyone needs some pictures with the one they love. :)

Can we talk about how sweet it is to watch our friends get married and have babies? Especially when the baby is as adorable as Belle? <3 Bri + Elias dressed their little princess up for her 6 month photos outside their home and in her adorable fit-for-a-princess nursery- complete with a Beauty and the Beast artwork done by Eli! <3

Meet the Heets! The littlest one is Wiley, who's turning two here soon! He's currently a fan of Elmo, running and giving kisses to Mom + Dad. We spent a beautiful evening at Waveland Historic Home in Lexington, Kentucky getting some updated family photos for this adorable family!

Joyce + Bryan welcomed a new baby (hello Watson!) into the world less than two weeks ago! I originally went over to do his newborn photos, but when big brother is 3 1/2 and there’s lots of down time for feedings, I was able to get quite a few photos of Atticus too! so a brothers post it shall be! :) I hope you love that chaos and fun of a shoot with two little boys now instead of one!

Harper has completed her first lap around the sun! This gal is a bundle of energy that is so, so joyful. She loves snacks, dogs and laughing at videos of herself laughing. I’m in awe of her little personality shining through! From love to marriage, to pregnancy to Harper's arrival, it's been a wild few years for the Petit family and I'm so thankful to have been along for the ride to document some of it for them. Enjoy Harper's one year session!

Jeff + Lyna met in St. Louis years ago shortly after she had moved to town. Since then these two still call St. Louis home and travel often. Their travels often bring them to Lyna's hometown in Kentucky! On one of their visits we drove to Shakertown for a gorgeous fall evening to snap some engagement pictures for this perfect pair.

Troy + Victoria met at MIT over 11 years ago and finally tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony and celebration at the Castle Post in Versailles, Kentucky. To see all the fun, including a guitar performance by Troy during the reception, check out the full post!

I just adore working with this sweet and funny family! I've photographed the Senter's many times over the years- but never all together! Kathy and Ryan were in Lexington for the weekend visiting Olivia and Gillian so we got together for a session at the University of Kentucky Arboretum for some family photos, new head shots and so much laughter behind the scenes.
