This adorable pair met at church in their hometown of Madisonville, Kentucky- which was the setting for their engagement session! We strolled through downtown, stopped by their church (which included their senior scout projects built next to each other years before they ever met) and ended the evening at sunset on the land where they’ll build their home together.

Molly + Stephen met in college over 7 years ago. Over that time they've traveled, adopted a dog and had many long chats about the future. Luckily that future includes each other because Stephen asked a question and Molly answered "yes"! :) They met me at sunrise in Bernheim Forest near Molly's hometown of Bardstown to document their love for each other and we had a truly beautiful morning romping through the scenery together. Jeff + Lyna met in St. Louis years ago shortly after she had moved to town. Since then these two still call St. Louis home and travel often. Their travels often bring them to Lyna's hometown in Kentucky! On one of their visits we drove to Shakertown for a gorgeous fall evening to snap some engagement pictures for this perfect pair.

Karl + Marlie met through mutual friends on the Louisville waterfront. Their first date took them across the river to Indiana at Falls of the Ohio State Park where we met up at sunrise for their engagement session. It's clear that DJ and Kailey communicate best through laughter- they are always cracking jokes and goofing off. DJ and Kailey felt like long lost friends the first time we met and they brought that same endearing energy to their engagement session. There are few stories I know better than theirs, which almost makes it harder to put into words.
