Brad and Bennett are high school best friends that realized they had a thing for each other in college. They have since made Lexington their home together with their three sweet pups! When they aren’t working they love to spend time outdoors on the weekends in Red River Gorge- which is where they recently got engaged! We spent a beautiful fall evening at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky for their engagement session to catch the fall color and capture their love for each other. There is no greater compliment than being able to create images for families time and time again. Nancy and Winn have been supporting my photography since the early days and still treasure some of those first portraits. These two best friends got engaged at Gattitown- apparently exactly 630 tickets can get you a proposal from the prize stand ;) and then went to Italy. So basically a location is secondary to them having an amazing time together and their wedding absolutely reflected that! In the blink of an eye little Harper has been here for half a year! Leaving her fur-brother Bentley at home, Megan and Hunter joined me at Waveland Historic Home in Lexington, Kentucky on a windy Sunday evening to document Harper’s smiley and growing personality at six months old.

Welcome to the world sweet little Elle!

A few hours in the car and ten miles of winding roads found me at an old farm house in rural Indiana. A pair of tall dog eyes greeted me at the edge of my car window and a happy puppy close behind. Goose sent me in the house through the backdoor. Inside Caroline was nursing Elle- a few weeks old but barely fitting into her newborn clothing without swimming in them.
