Brad and Bennett are high school best friends that realized they had a thing for each other in college. They have since made Lexington their home together with their three sweet pups! When they aren’t working they love to spend time outdoors on the weekends in Red River Gorge- which is where they recently got engaged! We spent a beautiful fall evening at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky for their engagement session to catch the fall color and capture their love for each other. This sweet family has invited me to document them many times and this time it was to celebrate little E turning 6 months old. Our session turned more into bribery with M&ms, shoulder rides, tickle fights and kisses and that’s exactly the way it should be :) I adore this family and hope you enjoy their session at the Studio Lex!

Meet Helen! She’s the newest, but still not the smallest (thanks to Mowgli!), addition to the Wood family! She was so excited to join in the family fun that she came two weeks early and kept one eye open for most of our photo shoot to make sure she didn’t miss anything. :) They joined me at The Studio Lex to document their fresh family of five.

This future palentologist just turned SIX! Brayden loves dinosaurs (his mom and I joked that he's totally channeling young Ross Gellar from Friends <3) and is a ball of energy! We spent a half hour at The Studio Cottage in Lexington, Kentucky driving upside down cars, jumping around in pillows and reading dinosaur books. After our session I got a text from his mom that said, "Brayden wants me to share that he wants you to babysit him because you are so fun. That's the highest honor from him!". I'm pretty sure that's the best review I've ever gotten <3
