With the arrival of Hadley Grace, dad is officially outnumbered! The Petit family welcomed their second baby girl this summer and they invited me into their home to document them together.

Joel, Emma and baby Viv currently call Taiwan home but while visiting family in the U.S. they squeezed in some time for family photos with me at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky! Even at a few months old Viv is already full of personality and kept us all laughing with her giggles and scowls and looks of judgement. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites! <3

Peter and Dominique loaded up the family, including the family dog Rollo and Peter’s parents, to enjoy an afternoon running through the corn stalks, watching Rollo deal with Noah’s loving but aggressive hugs and seeing Ron befriend the local camel at Eckert-Boyd Orchard in Versailles, Kentucky. There were also apple cider donuts- but they were so delicious they went unphotographed. :) Join us for their fun afternoon that has pictures to prove it. :)

Autumn + Joey welcomed baby Georgiana in June and she has completely stolen their hearts. It's always an honor to document a family at the beginning of a new chapter in their lives and spend quiet moments with them at home. These little details are fleeting treasures; the way Georgi lays and positions her legs because she was born breech, how Autumn strokes her arm and kisses her feet during feeding and the way Joey's facial hair makes her face crunch. Anyone who knows this family knows how much they are loved and love on others. We spent a chilly evening at Keeneland playing (and mostly watching Finnley chase Tatym around) so that this family could love on each other. Join us for all the giggles and chaos!

Kalen, Billy and their curious crew (Forrest, Beckett and Everly) met me in Gratz Park for some of their fist professional family photos together. There were lady bug searches (the kids even named one after me- SO sweet!), human pile ups, races, chasing and ring-a-round-the-rosey. I am always so humbled by the families to choose me to capture their family year, after year. The Adamany’s have done that FOUR years in a row! We switched it up this year from green + nature to gritty, urban and industrial. Kylie + Elysse literally rocked their leather jackets and pink dresses on this shoot and we had such a wonderful time spinning, skipping and making silly faces together. Enjoy! <3
