Meet Michael + Maggie, also known amongst family and friends as the McBears. They are a hilarious and self proclaimed nerdy pair that love puzzles, escape rooms and working out together. They even got engaged after a live game of Clue in downtown Louisville. While on a quick wedding planning trip to Kentucky I met up with Drew + Naz at their wedding venue The Vintage Barn at Merefield in Midway, Kentucky for an engagement session in the sunflower fields. It was truly a dreamy evening and I absolutely loved getting to experience how much there two laugh and play together. Over five years ago Cody + Sara Sims had their first date at the farm that Cody grew up on. After years of dating, a lot of a anticipation, and a questionable story about a forgotten wallet- Cody got down on one knee on the porch of the same cabin and asked a very important question. Sara of course said, “yes!” so it was the perfect setting for their engagement session and where they'll tie the knot later on this year. I just loved spending an evening with them and can’t wait to document their celebration in October. Enjoy!

Corey + Noël are high school sweethearts ready to take on the next adventures together in life! The first of those adventures is their 50lb fur baby named Jax and the next is marriage! :) We enjoyed a summer evening at Keeneland together and ended with a bike ride- but the surprise is that the bikes are special! Corey's grandparent's gave them the vintage bikes that they too rode and loved... but they needed quite a bit of work. After some new tires, tune up and shine they were ready for a new life on the road starting with this photo session! <3

John + Toni met almost a decade ago and have followed each other from New York to Kentucky for jobs and school- frequenting breweries inbetween. They love to spend time together in the Distillery District so we strolled around on a steamy summer evening clinking glasses of beer to all of life's excitements- like their upcoming wedding, trip to the Mediterranean and their Pomeranian pup!

Jeff + Lyna met in St. Louis years ago shortly after she had moved to town. Since then these two still call St. Louis home and travel often. Their travels often bring them to Lyna's hometown in Kentucky! On one of their visits we drove to Shakertown for a gorgeous fall evening to snap some engagement pictures for this perfect pair.
