John + Toni met almost a decade ago and have followed each other from New York to Kentucky for jobs and school- frequenting breweries inbetween. They love to spend time together in the Distillery District so we strolled around on a steamy summer evening clinking glasses of beer to all of life's excitements- like their upcoming wedding, trip to the Mediterranean and their Pomeranian pup!

I’ve been photographing this little lady’s parents, Cody + Kayla, since they got engaged in 2012! It’s hard to believe miss Adelaide is already a year old! The Twisted Cork is a liquor store, bar and music venue in Lexington, Ky. The owners and employees always greet you with a hug and the store has become a community watering hole and gathering place for music and revelry- a place where strangers can become your family. Songwriters in the round involves three different sets of 2-3 individual artists or duos. Each artist or duo alternates from song to song creating a round. The amazing artists that played this event are Whitney Acke and Ray Adams, A Little Bit More, Chelsea Nolan, Travis Kern, Bob Shirley, rlo McKinley and Wes Smith.

Meet the Heets! The littlest one is Wiley, who's turning two here soon! He's currently a fan of Elmo, running and giving kisses to Mom + Dad. We spent a beautiful evening at Waveland Historic Home in Lexington, Kentucky getting some updated family photos for this adorable family!

Harper has completed her first lap around the sun! This gal is a bundle of energy that is so, so joyful. She loves snacks, dogs and laughing at videos of herself laughing. I’m in awe of her little personality shining through! From love to marriage, to pregnancy to Harper's arrival, it's been a wild few years for the Petit family and I'm so thankful to have been along for the ride to document some of it for them. Little Eileen is the newest addition to the Crane household. Megan and Evan welcomed me into their home to photograph their new little lady at 12 days new.

It's clear that DJ and Kailey communicate best through laughter- they are always cracking jokes and goofing off. DJ and Kailey felt like long lost friends the first time we met and they brought that same endearing energy to their engagement session. It’s been such an blast to document Grace and Michael’s love story from their engagement photos, to their wedding in 2015, to photos with their pup Nelly last year and now with them as a family of 4! Little Bobbie is already so full of personality! He arrived over a week past his due date, gives a seemingly judgemental side glance to his admirers and is destined to be a Disneyland lover with the vintage map and Mickey ears in his nursery. It will be so much fun to see how he grows.
