When I met up with Autumn + Joey for their maternity session last week the gender of their little babe was still unknown- but they have since welcomed a beautiful baby girl! Autumn shared their journey of love through joy and hardship and that it was so special to have images to document this chapter in their story together. My favorite thing about photographing Joyce + Bryan and their spunky boys is that whenever I show a Joyce a photo on the back of the camera her reply is almost always, "awww, my boys!" regardless of who the photo is of. <3

Guy + Kate got an extra surprise when Little Ryan arrived because they waited to find out the gender! So excited with a little girl, they gave her a name that was significant to both mom and dad. Ryan's fur brother, Rizzo, doesn't seem to find that she has mom and dad wrapped around her little finger already as they all settle in at home together as a family of four! Can't wait to see how she grows and changes and it was a such a joy to document this family together during their first few weeks at home in Lexington, Ky.

These days Belle is most interested in walking everywhere, playing with the dog's toys and imitating her dad's painting skills. :) It’s so much fun to see her personality shining through as she completes her first lap around the sun. Anyone who knows this family knows how much they are loved and love on others. We spent a chilly evening at Keeneland playing (and mostly watching Finnley chase Tatym around) so that this family could love on each other. Join us for all the giggles and chaos!

It's a happy day in the Hester house because little Bobbie is officially a year old! This smiley and easy going guy Mikey Mouse, Donald Duck, watching the cars go by (him and Nelly were two peas in a pod during our photo session on this one!) and clapping whenever someone says, "yay Bobbie!" so- yay for Bobbie!
