Louisa is the newest addition to the Boersma family and she’s already got mom, dad and fur-sister Marigold wrapped around her little fingers <3 I photographed Ron + Hannah Beth’s wedding last September and was delighted to be asked to document their growing family while I was in Michigan recently. Miranda + Ryan welcomed Aubrey Rose to their wild crew in October! They invited me to spend a morning with them when Aubrey was just a few days old and I made a little photo magic out of the chaos. ;) I included a few outtakes that I hope get recreated as these kiddos grow up together. Enjoy! <3

I joined family at the University of Kentucky Arboretum for a mini session to document some portraits of them with baby Mia! We strolled through the gardens chatting about how they grew up two hours from each other in Mexico but met in the U.S. and tried our best to get three month old Mia to show us her beautiful smile. It was so wonderful to meet them and I hope everyone enjoys their sweet images! <3

Luke + Kendall invited me to their new home in the Chicagoland area to spend an evening with them, their fur babies and their newest addition, Silas! It was such a joy to see them in a new role as mom and dad, eat Italian take out and get to veg on the couch together the next day. Silas is one loved little guy that has playing baseball, cheering for the Cats and possibly attending UK in the class of 2041 in his future ;)

Julie + Matt welcomed little Maisy a few weeks earlier than expected (just like mom!). She's been a wide eyed addition to their already full and energetic house. Autumn + Joey welcomed baby Georgiana in June and she has completely stolen their hearts. These little details are fleeting treasures; the way Georgi lays and positions her legs because she was born breech, how Autumn strokes her arm and kisses her feet during feeding and the way Joey's facial hair makes her face crunch.
