Nancy and Winn have been supporting my photography since the early days and still treasure some of those first portraits. Alex and Megan are a classic tale of country boy meets city girl, except in Kentucky that doesn’t always make them so different! ;) Alex grew up playing football in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and Megan in the bustling metropolis of Lexington, learning how to bet on horses at the track before she could drive a car. They met a bar during finals week and went on their first date to W.T. Young Library on campus- but quickly learned they had many mutual friends, a love of adventure and the outdoors. This adventurous couple loves to travel, hunt, fish and enjoy their favorite Kentucky hotspots. Keeneland was an obvious venue choice for this Kentucky loving couple. For Peter and Dominique the roads of their love story have gone straight, weaved and split, split and weaved in yet they somehow always find their way back to each other. There are few stories I know better than theirs, which almost makes it harder to put into words. It was an honor to spend a beautiful sunny evening on the rolling hills of Kentucky to document their relationship so I’ll let the images speak for themselves.
