Meet Sydney Cubit
She's an incredibly talented songwriter and musician currently based in Nashville, TN.
I've known Sydney since she was a teenager and love connecting with her when I find myself in Nashville, which is what happened at the end of January. Her and I got together to just create together. To make images to a space with very little and then make images in a space with a lot. To play with light and shadows.
It was fun to create for the sake of creating and I am so excited to share some of my favorites from our session together below. Sydney is up to some incredible things these days- recently a song she co-wrote and sang in was featured on the Freeform show "Grown-ish" called "Love Myself Too".

A huge thank you to 21c Museum Hotel in Nashville, TN for letting us do photos in their artist room called Sanctuary. The space was designed by Dutch artist Sebastiaan Bremer. It features a full recording studio and artistic space that allows it's guests to become participants of self-expressions, experimentation and artistic collaboration.
