Paige + Jarren are in the final weeks before they add a little boy, Emmett, to their family! I joined them on Paige’s grandmother’s property in Bardstown, Kentucky to snap some maternity photos for them amongst the garden, barn and colorful spring blooms. Enjoy!
While on a family vacation to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky Addy, who’s 6, fell in love with the ornament display at the park and suggested that her Mom, Cathy, and her fiancé of 3 years, Nate, should getting married there. After years of procrastinating the planning of a big wedding they took Addy’s suggestion seriously and put a wedding together in just 6 DAYS! Cathy’s grandfather officiated the ceremony and their closest family members (and a collection of horse park visitors that evening) watched them step inside the ornament and have an impromptu ceremony inside the ornament! Join us for their magical after dark nuptials.
Alex + Cassie met while serving at P.F. Changs and found that would try to spend as much time around each other as they could. It took Cassie moving away from Lexington for Alex to make his move and ask Cassie out, which took her back to Lexington and the rest, as they say, is history! Over the years they’ve been together they’ve adopted a dog and appeared in several music videos as extras; and as themselves in Andy Grammar’s hit “Honey I’m Good”. I think you can see the reference to their wedding title there. :) They wed at the Round Barn Stable of Memories in Lexington, Kentucky in late November surrounded by laughter and love. Join us for their celebration!
If you love the winter holiday season maybe you’d love to get married during this time; twinkle lights, Christmas trees, cool temperatures and decorations that make any space feel cozier. It’s a wonderful time of the year and Jessica Kite at The Galerie in Versailles, Kentucky put together an incredible team of people to show off how magical and winter soiree could be! Join us for TWO gorgeous weddings in this beautiful new space.
Chris and Sarah started out as long distance friends from an internet game they played together but as life brought them geographically closer together their friendship blossomed closer too. Their love story continued to span thousands of miles as jobs, school and visiting family called for lots of time on the road both together and apart. Their hearts remained close regardless of the distance and lead them here- to their wedding day! They wed under cool Saturday with overcast skies on October 13th. Join us for their sweet and colorful fall celebration at the Loudoun House in Lexington, Kentucky!
Molly + Stephen met in college over 7 years ago. Over that time they've traveled, adopted a dog and had many long chats about the future. Luckily that future includes each other because Stephen asked a question and Molly answered "yes"! :) They met me at sunrise in Bernheim Forest near Molly's hometown of Bardstown to document their love for each other and we had a truly beautiful morning romping through the scenery together. Join us for their laughter and exceptional way they love each other.
Gabrielle + Andrew met while she was finishing her masters at the University of Kentucky and within a few years they got engaged in London, England, bought a home together, are raising their spunky Scottish Terrier named Snow and are planning their wedding for next year! <3 Join us for their engagement session at Buffalo Trace Distillery and the University of Kentucky!
David and Chelsea met at work, fell in love during many dates at Keeneland and got engaged on the shores of South Carolina. These Lexington natives fiercely love their pets (their Corgi even made an appearance), laughing with their friends and celebrating like it’s going out of style. I did my best to document the goofiness of this fun loving, laid back pair and hope you smile from ear to ear as you relive their downtown Lexington wedding day. Join us for their vows at St. Paul Catholic Church, portraits around Limestone Hall + Gratz Park and celebration at the Mane on Main in Lexington, Kentucky. Enjoy!
